Reaffirmation Goals 

As part of maintaining university accreditation, Cal State 麻豆社 (and all California State University’s) periodically undergo a reaffirmation of accreditation from the (WSCUC). The goal of our reaffirmation review in 2025 is Cal State 麻豆社’s demonstration of the ongoing improvement of student learning, student success, and institutional effectiveness. This process affirms the University is meeting acceptable levels of quality demonstrating compliance with WSCUC and federal regulations. Reaffirmation also helps to ensure credits and degrees earned by students are continued to be recognized for employment and transfer to other institutions. It is also required for state funding and federal aid.

Accreditation Review Team Visit March 19-21

The Cal State 麻豆社 campus hosted an official accreditation reaffirmation team visit from our accrediting agency, the  (WSCUC) on March 19-21, 2025. Thank you students, staff, and faculty for participating. 

Next, the WSCUC team members will prepare and send the University their report on the visit and CSUEB's Institutional Report. President Sandeen will have the opportunity to submit a response. WSCUC will then send an action letter to President Sandeen and the University's Accreditation Liaison Officer, Fanny Yeung in the summer, 2025. It will then be distributed to the campus community along with next steps the university community will take to implement these action items. WSCUC will also publish the action letter and team report on its website.
